The buggy bag® company began in 1996 with a concerned mother providing comfort for her daughter.
In Canada the weather can be cold, snowy or rainy (we also get sun). The buggy bag® concept was developed to keep our daughter warm, with the buggy bag® we could head out for walks in any weather without constantly worrying about her comfort and well-being. The initial buggy bag® was designed to keep the riding space warm, dry and protected from wind, rain and snow. It covered the legs, torso and arms, right up to the chin. Our daughter could get her arms out too if she wanted. Thus the buggy bag® stroller cover was born, our daughter loved it and all our friends wanted one. Soon we were manufacturing buggy bags® in our basement studio and having difficulty keeping up with the demand.
Over the next few years we got so many comments and suggestions that we started to add to the buggy bag® line. Eventually we developed a complete line of baby mobility accessories including the buggy bag® car seat cover, the buggy bag® jogger cover and the buggy bag® infant head support. We made the stroller and jogger covers available in fleece and nylon and have added many colours and patterns.
All buggy bag® products are made in Canada and all are of the highest quality. We insist on making a product that will stand the test of time and we have always worked closely with our customers to achieve a product that will be functional and attractive. This is why we insist on being involved in every aspect of the buggy bag® design and manufacture and why we continue to produce the product in Canada.

Recently we were approached and asked to apply the same concept we applied to the stroller and joggers to a concept for wheelchairs. Working closely with the end users and tested by caregivers the design was developed over several months. Ultimately the same focus and attention to detail was applied to a different form of transportation and the buggy bag® stroller accessories line became the buggy bag® mobility accessories product line. As with all buggy bag® products we are determined to build a product that will continue to be used and appreciated for many years. 
We at buggy bag® are extremely excited about this new wheelchair lap blanket product line. We have paid the same attention to detail and insisted on the same high quality standards in materials and workmanship. We feel extremely gratified to offer the buggy bag® wheelchair lap blanket and know it will give our customers years of use.
